Cuttlebug Be Inspired #15

Good Morning:

A big welcome Our Guest Designer, the amazing Becky Fleck to the Cuttlebug Challenge blog.





I'm sure you all have seen Becky's amazing work in many magazines and also as a designer of our beloved MFG BASIC GREY.
Becky is also the author of the book, Page Maps as well as the site of the same name. Page Maps has become a popular book no scrapper wants to be without!

Our DT Coordinator, Trudi has selected a wonderful sketch created by Becky as your inspiration for this week. Create a card or layout based on the sketch provided below.

We will be giving a copy of Becky's book out and also selecting a project of the week from your submission

Becky graciously answered a few questions for us.
1.How do you organize your layouts and cards?

Cards are a bit easier to store and I keep them in an oversized recipe box, separated into categories. For me, organization is all about finding the time, something I seem to seriously lack these days!

2.Do you follow a schedule for creating? Is there a time during the day you prefer?

Since I work full-time for BasicGrey, my creating schedule is pretty much limited to booth work twice a year. But when I have time to create for myself, early mornings are my best time.

3.What is your process?

I start out by selecting my photos and writing my journaling. I think these two components are the most important and essential parts of a layout. Then I select or create a sketch that works with the photos and start choosing papers and embellishments. After that, the layout comes together pretty quickly.
