Cuttlebug Rendezvous Mondays #1

Welcome to the Monday edition of the Cuttlebug Rendezvous!

My name is Shannon and I'll be walking you thru this quick and easy tutorial on how to use multiple Cuttlebug Embossing Folders in the Big Shot!

Ready to get going?

Here is the card I created using 3 different folders. And I did it with just one pass thru the Big Shot. Love it!!! I chose to make a birthday card in celebration of my birthday on the 26th of this month. The card uses the "Happy Birthday", "D'vine Swirl" and the "Frills" Cuttlebug Embossing folders.

You can see there in the picture below how I've placed each of the folders in the Big Shot. My sandwich is Multi-purpose platform, Cutting plate, folders with cardstock, Crease Pad.
One pass thru and your card base is done. Now onto the details.
Ever wondered how to get your punched image centered on the punch? It's easy! Ink up your stamp and stamp onto the cardstock you'd like to use. Next, grab your punch and flip it upside down so you can see the opening underneath. Center your image and punch! Beautiful! Attach to your project or your little bit of bling and you're done.

This beautiful birthday card was created by our Design Team member Jenn Koss.

Card Organizer
Every year at this time is crazy with people trying to organize everything in their lives. I've taken some time recently to organize my craft room and all the stuff I have in it. All my stamps and ink and paper and embellies and embossing stuff has a place. Except for my cards. I was making and making cards and setting them up to look at but I was quickly beginning to run out of room. So, I decided to organize them into a basket I had on hand.

Each of the dividers is 6" square. I used a corner rounder on them to soften the look a bit. I ran the Very Vanilla layer thru the Big Shot with the "D'vine Swirl" Cuttlebug folder. The categories I've created dividers for are Birthday, Just Because, Thank You, Baby, Wedding, Get Well, Sympathy, and Holiday. I cut the lettering out of black adhesive vinyl using the Cricut.
I hope this has inspired you to get out those folders and dies and make some cards today. If you do we'd love to see them!! Post them back here for us to enjoy.

Here’s a simple basket Organization MlamarreDesigns created:

I was browsing the Clearance Aisle at Michaels stumble upon this gorgeous basket….

I followed Shannon tutorial and created an organizer for the cards that I have accumulated, still waiting to be mailed out to friends

A very beautiful card and creative organizer. I was wondering if, in tutorials, you could also add directions for actually using the Cuttlebug machine, for those of us who don't have a Big Shot.

Thanks, Judi
