Introducing the Sketch Hour!

Good morning Everyone:
Every Saturday we will be bringing you the Sketch Hour hosted by one of our Design team..

So this Sat morning, forget about the house cleaning, the grocery list and the car that needs to be washed..or the garden that needs to be weeding :)

Take this hour for yourself, better yet take this whole day to yourself and create something..

We plan on bringing you simple but yet elegant styles and designs that will take you less than 30 minutes to an 1 hour to complete...

This is great fun for everyone, whether you create digital, paper, hybrid or cards, this sketch will go great to help you start the day :)

This Sketch hour is brought to you by your Hostess..

Let's meet the talented Aymee:

Hello all! My name is Aymee! Some of you may know me as 'Southernbellescrapper.' I am 25 years old. I live in PA, but am originally from AL. I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Brandon, for 6 wonderful years. I have been scrapbooking for about a year.

I am a serious scrapbooker. I love love love to scrapbook! I try to scrapbook some every day. I am into layouts, cards, altered projects, sketch making, etc. You name it and I either do it or want to. It is my true passion in this life. When I'm not scrapping, you will find me on the scrappy message boards, decorating my home, spending time with family/friends, traveling, and just enjoying this crazy life.

I have 2 blogs, one for my scrappy projects and one for my sketches. They are: http://southernbellescrapper.blogspot.com/ and http://southernbellesketcher.blogspot.com/ .

I look forward to having a lot of fun and meeting you all!!!!

Here's Aymee Card Sketch to get your day going..

Sample of Card by Aymee

Sally Keller used the sketch to create a fabulous elegant Digital Lay out !

Credits:
everything on this LO is from OScraps.com. Designs from the January OScraps
Collab kit, "Hopes and Dreams".

MlamarreDesigns created this fun card using the sketch as a base and added floss and stamping instead of Chipboard..
This card came together in less than 10 mtes..
The sentiment was stamp on vellum, and the tag from vellum to add nice fun element..

Use the Provo craft mini tag die to create the tag insert.

Credits :
Cuttlebug Machine, tag die from provo craft. Sweet paper from DCWV, Mambi rhinestones, Inkadinkado stamps. Vellum Paper wishes. Floss DMC.

Have a great weekend,
Don't forget to leave a comment even if it's to say hi
See You Next Weekend
The Sketch Hour Team!

Ooh I can't wait. Saturday mornings are usually horrible ironing time, so now I can look forward to them instead of dreading them :-)Don't ya just hate housework, it really interferes with crafting !!
Sooo , they start next Saturday 17th at what time ?? Will they be archived so we can see them at a different time or is it a specific time

oh Aymee I absolutely love your sketch. So different - wow - I'm not sure whether I will have time to do it (two elderly ladies to take care of and shop for today) but I would love to give it a try time allowing.

Hi Aimee. Now I will have to spend time looking through your blog. I just took a peak at the fist page of the scrappy one and your projects are really great: butterflies, flowers, exactly the things I love :)
