Have you seen the beautiful new line by K & Company named "Madeline"? It is simply divine, and you will be seeing quite a bit of this new product on my album today! My song lyrics for my mini album were chosen because I wanted to convey the love that is shared between two people that have shared many loving years of marriage. These lyrics are throughout the pages of this album for you to view. I hope that my dear cousin will cherish this mini album that I made especially for her to honor the love between her parents. So, let's get started...

We will first begin by cutting our Kraft cardstock. Cut out 6 squares with the following dimensions: 6"W x 6"L. Once that is completed, take 2 squares and glue the back sides of the 2 squares together. Let dry and set aside. Do the same 3 more times. You will end up having 3/ea of 6"W x 6"L squares. We will use these to be the base of our pages. View 1 shows glueing to the 6" W x 6"L square. View 2 shows the finished 6"W x 6"L square used as a page in your mini album.
Note: Ink the edges of the album right after you cut and adhere to the page. Inking is not necessary, but does add to the vintage flair of the album!
For the front cover, refer to the sketch (view 3) below for paper placement, and for final front cover (view 4)to see the end result. You will be using the Martha Stewart scallop dot edge punch on this page. Note: before using the edge punch, you will run the paper through your Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder. For the main embellishment on front cover, the paper that is used which is underneath the "Endless Love" title is to be first run through the Cuttlebug using the swiss dot folder. Adhere it to the back of the pink scalloped chipboard. Using the rub-on sheets, cut out the letters to spell out the phrase "endless love", and adhere to the light brown cardstock. Cut around each word and adhere the "endless love" phrase to the middle of the pink scalloped chipboard. To the left hand side of the pink scalloped chipboard, adhere your Frillie flower. Cut 2/ea of approx 3" vintage lace and the same of the pink sheer ribbon. Adhere the pink sheer ribbon and vintage lace tucking it underneath the Frillie flower. Lastly, adhere 3/ea of the Zva pearls to the top of each pink sheer ribbon placed on the vintage lace.
For page 1, refer to the sketch (view 5) below for paper placement, and for final page 1(view 6) to see the end result. You will be using the Fiskars apron lace border punch on this page. Use the decorative pinking paper edgers on the brown paper. The paper that is in back of the vintage photo has been run through the Cuttlebug using the textile textures folder. For the 2" handmade flower as well as the 1" handmade flower, first run the paper through the Cuttlebug using the swiss folder. The 2" handmade flower paper was first punched with the 2" circle punch, then crinkled to add some texture. The bird chipboard embellishment was added to the center for this flower. The other two (2) 1" handmade flowers are made by first running paper through the Cuttlebug using the swiss dot folder. For each 1" flower you will use the 1" circle punch for the outer layer , then add the 7/8" circle punch for the middle layer, and then the 3/4" circle punch for the center layer. You will be adding a rhinestone to both 1" handmade flowers. All handmade flowers have pop-dots underneath to add some dimension to page.
For page 2, refer to the sketch (view 7) below for paper placement, and for final page 2 (view 8)to see the end result. You will be using the Fiskars upper crest border punch on this page. For the top part of the page, use the big flower chipboard embellishment. Adhere to page. Adhere 5/ea of the tiny Zva pearls as shown on final page view 8. Referring to view 8, run the papers used on the bottom two side through the Cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder. The bottom middle green paper is to be run through the Cuttlebug using the textiles texture folder. Lastly, you will use your computer, or handwrite the following lyrics, cut out into strips, and adhere as shown in view 8. Lyrics are as follows: "our lives have just begun", "Forever, I'll hold you close in my arms" "Oh yes, you will always be, my endless love.", "Two hearts, two hearts that beat as one", "I can't resist your charm".
For page 3, refer to the sketch (view 9) below for paper placement, and for final page 3(view 10)to see the end result. You will be using the EK Success 1" circle punch to make the scallop border on this page. The white paper that is used as a mat for the vintage photo was run through the Cuttlebug using the textile texture folder. After adhering papers, you will put the left scroll type chipboard embellishment to the left side of the photo. The scallop border is achieved byt tucking in the 1" circle punches and placed as shown in view 10. Adhere 5 of the medium size pearls from Zva as shown in view 10 to the circle scallop border.
For page 4, refer to the sketch (view 11) below for paper placement, and for final page 4 (view 12). Cut 2 of the 3" circles out of your punch, and run each through the Cuttlebug using the swiss dot folder. Adhere them to page as shown and cut off excess paper. The little green paper used to the mat the tiny vintage photo was run through the Cuttlebug using the textile texture folder. The pink border that is underneath the green paper mat is made by using the Fiskars upper crest border punch. The photo has been raised by using pop-dots. Refer to view 12 for the placement of the mats for the tiny photo. Use the right hand green swirl chipboard embellishment from the package and adhere to the brown paper as shown in view 12. Lastly, you will use your computer, or handwrite the following lyrics, cut out into strips, and adhere as shown in view 12. Lyrics are as follows: "My love, I'll be a fool, for you", "I'm sure, you know I don't mind", "Cause you, you mean the world to me", "Oh, I know I've found in you, my endless love".
For the back cover, refer to the sketch (view 13) below for paper placement, and for final back cover (view 14).
To complete your book, you now need to hole punch one hole into the top left hand corner of each page, and insert one silver jump ring through each page and close clasp. Now, take 9" of vintage lace, light pink and dark pink sheer ribbons and run through the jump ring and tie a knot to secure. Trim the edges of the ribbons for a clean look.
I sure hope this mini album I created with music as my inspiration will inspire you to make your very own unique album!
