Our design team did such an amazing job using these diecuts.

Just look at how creative Danni was with this project.

I asked her to share with us how this idea came to her. Here is her answer:

I KNEW when I received the "groom" box that there was only so much you
could do with it. How many "new" ways to design it could there really be?
I also knew that I could create the "party favor" as it is intended but
only a "select few, with wedding favor needs" would have a use for that
inspiration right now.

So, I was trying to think of how people COULD purchase/use the die-cuts
year-round instead of once or so in their lives, hence, the idea to cut
it apart from the front flap & create a gift instead of a favor box.
That's how the idea was "born"

Well, I couldn't just have a "groom's box" because it wasn't sensible to
be giving just the "groom" a gift (no groom's showers that we're invited
to anyway...giggle), so i used my bridal silhouette i drew for my wedding
cards, to create a "bride" gift tin too. That way, if you need a gift
for a "bridal shower" you have that tin idea, if you need a wedding gift,
you have a "his & hers" set of candy tins you could stick gift cards in.

Jenn M had the great idea to transform the purse diecut into a wedding album.

Project instructions from Jenn:

I turned my purse die cut into a mini album of my wedding. I embossed the front and back with Swiss dots. I used the insert that came with the die cut as a stencil for the inside pages. I hand stitched a simple back stitch to keep the pages together, then adhered the outside pages to the inside of the purse. That left 6 mini pages to use. I printed wallet sized photos and trimmed as needed. Some simple embellishments used throughout the album tie it all together. The outside "cover" was decorated using the same lace, letter stickers, flowers, and bling that I used on the inside pages.

How about these wonderful projects the design team made? Did you ever imagine you could use those diecuts in so many ways?

Wow...beautiful work.

I am new here...so could someone please pop over to my InkBlotsbyTRD blog (link in my profile) and tell me what the specifics are for the challenges? Do we have to make boxes, cards, layouts? Do we have to use the Cuttlebug? Any other requirements? Thanks for any help!
