Layered Felt Flower Tutorial by Allison Yates
Allison here with my Fabric Flower Tutorial using the Cuttlebug. The idea for this flower came to me one morning when I woke up. Guess I spent all night dreaming about it!Don’t know if that means I am dedicated or just plain mad!
List of Materials:
Cuttlebug, Large heart Sizzix die,Felt,Needle & thread, Rafia, Scalloped ribbon, Sheer Ribbon, Prima flower, Prima felt flower, Silk Rose florette, and Fabric Adhesive
Directions:
1. Cut three large hearts using the Sizzix die and arrange in a flower shape. Secure with a few stitches in the centre. Gather together the scalloped ribbon with thread and sew in place on top of the three hearts. These stitches won't be seen so don't worry about perfection!
2. Sew the rafia in loops in the centre - make them on the large side as you will trim them later - it should now look like this:
3. Using the thread again gather up the sheer ribbon and stitch in the centre.4. Glue in place in the centre a medium sized prima flower(this helps to hide the untidy sewing). Take the felt Prima flower and pinch it underneath in the centre and add a few stitches to help gather it up. Stitch in place.
5. Glue the rose to the centre of the Prima flower and trim the raffia.

Would love to see what flowers you make using this technique! Tip: You could use the smaller Sizzix heart die to create smaller flowers! ~AllisonOrganza Flower Tutorial by Christine Penaflor
Welcome to the Cuttlebug Challenge Spa Retreat Weekend! I'm Christine, and today I will be sharing how I created some flowers from organza fabric. I would like to give credit to Tresa Edmunds for the great instructions and inspiration for creating these flowers.
I began with some cream organza that I purchased at Joann's. I simply cut them using the Flower Layers die from Sizzix in my Cuttlebug. You can cut as many as four layers of organza at a time with this particular die (see photo 1).

Next, I used the flame from a candle to gently melt the organza fabric (see photo 2). You must be very careful with this step and not get too close to the flame because the organza is very delicate and can melt into a shrunken ball if it is brought to close to the flame (trust me, I speak from experience! :-D ). I found that there was enough heat from the flame to begin melting the organza when it was about three inches above the flame. You'll have to practice and see what works for you, but please note that it only take a little bit of heat for the fabric to begin curling. As an alternative, you can try using a heat gun to achieve the same effect.

Slowly turn the die cut fabric until all petals have been slightly curved (see photo 3). Next, layer each of the flowers on top of one another until you achieve a pleasing look. Try to not to overlap the petals for a better look.

I die cut another small flower from a piece of organza for the center layer, and I used a rhinestone brad from Creating Keepsakes to attach all the layers together (see photo 4).

You can also use glue dots to adhere each layer to one another and then embellish with a pearl center (as seen on the project in Photo 5).

I hope you take the opportunity to try this! The flowers are so very pretty and delicate and can be a wonderful embellishment on your next project! Thank you for joining me today for this tutorial! ~Christine

Flop Qf Tp 7c, for you there is nothing but a check. Let the word to the player on your left, on time, puts € 10. Turn of the fold and the action returns to you. Try to convince yourself that may have cbettato ace and kappa, you could be ahead, you may also groped a good bluff poker on the turn and fold it ... In short: call and the turn was the Jc. Now you have a bilateral and a flush draw in addition to the bottom pair. Checked again, your opponent gets the remains and at the end of many hesitations call. River 2c and greetings to a stack.
I think a lot of it happened something like this. Unfortunately, it often happens to play along with patience and logic and then stumble in one hand completely no sense in which you lose a lot more than they ever earned. Matter of discipline, as I said at the beginning and then here are three tips to avoid falling into this error.
REMEMBER THE CONSEQUENCES - Always remember that any action at the table it creates others. A limp wrong by MP may be innocent poker, but the risk of creating a situation in which a then difficult to get out (see the example given above). This does not mean you should play only premium hand: have a percentage of air in his range is even necessary in some cases, but to play those hands need a well-defined plan.
KEEP YOUR MIND BUSY - Play for hours without seeing a decent hand can be extremely frustrating. The mind gets tired, bored and eventually make mistakes. We have to avoid it, if the session is online, you can add tables increasing the pace of the game and preventing the mind to relax too. If the session is live you have to look for some activities (a book, crossword puzzles, music, etc ...) with which to relax.
