Hi, I'm Amber Goble
Design Team member at Cuttlebug Challenge. I had so much fun with this project. I decided to create a picnic basket gift set for a friend. It was so easy and the Harlequin folder added such a beautiful texture to my creation.
I downloaded my picnic basket template from Papertrey Ink. I used Sassafrass paper as my trim for the basket and ran it thru my Cuttlebug using the Harlequin folder. I then
sanded the embossing and went over it with copper ink from Martha Stewart. I repeated this step for the lid. I then took my Spellbinder Nestabilities and cut a scalloped circle for an embellishment on my basket and added a Fancy Pants chipboard apple.
Here is an up close picture of the embossed paper using the Harlequin folder:

My basket is filled with apple jam and apple muffin mix. I used the apple theme throughout the basket. I also embossed a strip of card stock to go around my apple jam jar with the Harlequin folder and added a Nesty with a button and stamp from Papertrey Ink.

This project was very easy to make and used only a few supplies. The Harlequin folder added such texture and dimension, that over-embellishing wasn't necessary.
Hello everyone! I'm Tracy -- Sr. DT member here on the CCB.
I fell in love with the Harlequin EF the minute I laid eyes on it!
I just love the design and knew it would add a perfect, elegant touch to my Canvas Creation (8x10) which features my daughter Kristyn and her Prom date.
Here are the items that you will need to re-create this beautiful canvas:
I simply painted my canvas black and adhered to pieces of patterned paper (Little Yellow Bicycle) to opposite corners. Now for the fun part...I cut 2 different size pieces of Black art metal (Ten Seconds Studio) and embossed them using the Harlequin EF. To do this, you simply lay the piece of metal inside of the EF (color-side up). Place the A Mat down first, then sandwhich the EF between the two B Mats and run through the Cuttlebug.
Next, remove the piece of embossed metal and lightly sand over the embossed design with a light-weight sanding block and watch the design come to life!
I just LoVe the look!
I then repeated this process with a smaller piece of Black art metal and embossed it with this adorable Flower Border EF.
I cut around the embossed design to create a unique embellishment for my canvas. I further embellished my flowers with half pearls and a little bling (Making Memories).
To complete the canvas, I adhered the embossed Harlequin metal pieces to my canvas using tacky tape. I then added my matted picture and the beautiful embossed flower border. I then added some layered flowers and the 2009 chipboard stickers for the final finishing touch.
I just LoVe how it turned out!
I hope this project will inspire you to create some fabulous Canvas Creations of your own! Be sure to add the CCB to your blog roll today to ensure that you never miss out on all of the incredible projects, videos, and tutorials our amazing DT members have in store for you!
