Christmas Planner

Hi! I am June Houck. I have created an envelope book to help keep me organized this holiday season and to become a memory book for Christmas 2009. I used my new Cuttlebug Candy Cane embossing folder on red Core'dinations card stock.
These pages are a calendar of events for November and December. Inside the envelopes/pockets I can save any party invitations we receive as memorabilia.
On the left page I can record who I send Christmas cards to and who I receive them from (I don't want to forget anyone!) The right page is a wish list for my husband and our twin daughters. The envelope/pocket can hold my receipts.
On the left page is my list of other friends and family that I make/buy gifts for. On the right side is a list of gifts we receive. This will help me remember to send a thank you note :)
In this envelope/pocket I can include photos of the gifts I made this year and favorite family pictures of Christmas 2009.

I hope I have inspired you to create something similar. I would love to hear YOUR ideas for a holiday planner. If you would like specifics on my Christmas planner, click here.

This is great! I love the idea of it, and how organized it would keep the hectic days of the holiday! I think this would be great to use as a shoppers tool too, to put one's favorite stores and coupons inside.

Standby recipes for a quick meal when a brain freeze happens. You could do all the restaurants you do takeout from and everyone in the house's favorite, so that if you had to order before people get home, you know the best meal to call in!

My mind is racing with ideas from this, thank you so much!!!

Wow, June, that is a spectacular idea! I only write small notes and keep them on my work table for planning. I have never thought of making such a lovely book. It's really beautiful! Thanks for sharing the idea!
