2010 Winter CHA Projects Featuring Asian Inspired Folders

Hi I'm Shantaie Fowler from InkingPink, I have a few more CHA goodies to share with you. So far the team has really impressed us all with the creative and artistic paper crafts. I want to thank all of our sponsors for the fantastic products we got to use in our CHA projects.

I had two categories to make projects for. The first ,was Gifts from the Kitchen.

You may remember this project from a previous post during the 12 days of Christmas, this is a cocoa gift set with a fun pink and teal color combo from Bella Blvd. and core'dinations.I used the Japanese scales folder on the cup sleeve demonstrating once again that these folders are super versatile!!

My next Project is a chocolate bar slider sleeve.

This is a fun gift item with my favorite theme ever...chocolate!! I used the whitewash core'dinations cardstock, and cosmo cricket papers.I wonder if the chocolate bar survived CHA?

I made this colorful and charming recipe box, that my sister has claimed to be her favorite!

I love this cheerful paper from cosmo cricket, it reminds me of a retro kitchen.Fun. I picked up this premade box at my local craft store and covered it in all these happy papers for a custom look.I even played with my new cricut to make this "recipe" label.

This is the takeout container I shared with you in this post

These gorgeous papers from adornit really "make" this project. Even though these fortune cookies are made from paper the takeout container can be used for yummy treats!

If you grow your own herbs, or know someone who does, you will love this project.

These plant markers are all dressed up in cosmo cricket paper, stamped images and a bird from the winter woodland cartridge. You can pick these up at Michaels or target for $1.00 and embellish away!

I made this Family tree for the "family reunion" category, it is a 3D wood tree covered in pages from a book, glitter and sweet paper from Bella Blvd. The flowers are embossed as well as the metal hearts.

I had so much fun with all of my projects, and feel so honored to have the opportunity to have my work seen at CHA.

Don't forget we are giving away 2 Cricut cartridges this month, leave comments for a chance to win :)

I especially love the wooden stand-up tree because I got a few of these on clearance a year or so ago and had NO IDEA what to do with them. (I just couldn't argue with $0.20 each, you know ...) Thanks to you, now I have an idea! :)
