Yes, we all need to do our part to help Haiti, as well as pray for safety and restoration.
I have a personal heartbreak in all this as our former pastor is Hatitan. He has not yet been able to reach his two sisters or other friends and relatives. He also has a school there and knows nothing yet of damage or causualties. Please keep them in your prayers.
Thank you for encouraging your readers to donate. In a time like this we all need to do as much as we can. I've donated to the Red Cross. I think they are a wonderful organization that is always ready to help in times of disasters.

It is so sad to see what happened in Haiti. It's great to see your posting to help. Our daughters school is also collecting donations so the children can get the feel of giving to those in need. Great idea. Thanks!!

Not sure how you want receipt info. They are going to need help for a long time. I also gave to Samaritan's purse which is doing great things down there.
