Create Five Scrumptious cards with 1 Stamp!

Vintage Scripture Card

Hi! This is Sandee.    This is a great Monday so far and I am very excited to be here today for my first tutorial on the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog!

I can't wait to show you how you can create not one, not two, not three cards, but are you ready for this ???
Five different cards with their own personality with just one stamp!!!!

I  chose a beautiful scripture stamp from Our Daily Bread designs.
I hope these designs will inspire you to get creative with your stamps!

Supplies that I used for all the cards:

ODBd scripture stamp from the Happy Birthday set
Neenah, Co'Ordinations, and SU! cardstock
SU! and Basic Grey Designer papers
SU! ribbon, silver cord, and inkpads
Memento Ink Pads
Primas, charm, buttons and pearls
Bow Easy and Stamp-a-ma-jig, Sanding block
Cuttlebug Embossing Folders-
Cuttlebug Textiles, Cuttlebug Damask, Cuttlebug  Leafy Branch, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls,Cuttlebug Ironworks Borders
Cuttlebug Dies-Corner Die, Cuttlebug Damask Die, Cuttlebug Ornamental Die

This particular scripture stamp can be used for so many occasions, especially when used with various Cuttlebug embossing folders and dies! I will actually be using these for birthday cards!

Here is the first card, which is done with the Provo Craft Cuttlebug Damask folder and die combo.
I turned one of the die cuts so that it would be a mirror image of the other design.

This is the Day

The Day the Lord Has Made

How To:

I keep a piece of chipboard, which is cut the same size as the Cuttlebug folders and has an oval cut out of the center. This is what I used to get the un-embossed area in the middle of my card above.

Just put your card stock in the folder as usual and then make this sandwich: A plate, chipboard, embossing folder with paper inside, then your C plate.

Then just run it through your bug! Depending on your machine, you may have to play around with the sandwich. The bottom of that card is part of the frame on the Damask Frame die.

Let Us Rejoice!

How to:
This card was the easy one of the bunch. I just embossed with the Leafy Branch folder and sponged it using Certainly Celery ink and a sponge wedge to highlight the raised areas. The gorgeous vintage corners are what gives this card that little extra punch!

Be Glad In It

For this card,  I use the Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls folder from Provo Craft with Core'dinations cardstock and sanded the raised areas to show the inner core of the paper. The tags are cut with the Ornamental combo die and are attached with ribbon. I just added tiny pearls here and there along with one tiny prima flower for an elegant look.

Vintage Scripture Card

This last card is my favorite, I think. I love the vintage style and I think this captures that feel. The Basic Grey designer paper is embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile embossing folder  from Provo Craft, and sponged with Ruby Red ink. I love sponging my cards because of the warm and sometimes vintage feel it brings to a project.  I buy those round sponges that come three to a pack and cut them into wedges for sponging with ink.  Again, I used one side of the Damask Frame Die to create the bottom border and embossed another border from the Cuttlebug Ornamental Iron border set. I added ribbon and Prima flower and an old button from my stash.

Thank you so much for joining me today for my first tutorial! I hope that this will inspire you to see what you can do with just one stamp!!

It is nice to see some inspirational quotes here on the CB blog. I also love how you used an oval piece of chipboard to create an unembossed 'frame' effect on one of your cards. Lovely.
