Knit a playful flower hat with the Knifty Knitter!

Happy Tuesday!

We are so excited to let you know our very own Kathy Orta Files' amazing mini album was chosen by Jinger to be featured today on HSN.

Jinger is going to be showcasing the Knifty Knitter today at 11 AM and 4 PM EST, please be sure to watch and support Kathy.

Now I have to tell you I've never been one to sit still, let alone to knit. I tried before when I was 11 and it didn't work out...

Now I'm in luv with knitting! Thanks to Kim from Provo Craft for taking the time to teach me, in less than 8 minutes, how to make a flower for scrapbooks, wearable ART, etc..

Ladies be ready to see the amazing things the designers will be creating with the knifty knitter to inspire you.
Betty created this amazing flower arrangement using the flower loom from knifty knitter.

Yes Ladies this is not just for knitting there are a number of creative projects for this loom.

Here is the Flower Loom with the needle and lifting tool that comes with it.

Supply used:

This arrangement that Betty made is done with 1/8 inch Offray Ribbon. The pot is Core'dination's paper, cut with the Easter Cricut Cartridge, and embossed with the Birds and Flowers Cuttlebug embossing folder. The butterfly is from Prima.

And the latest trend is big flowers for Baby's hair!! This is an easy and elegant way to create just the right bows and flowers for your little ladies!!

The Flower Loom is so easy to use with Yarn, Ribbon, Raffia, String, .... what will your creative mind come up with??? And it can also be used to make flat knitted pieces as well as flowers :)

Here at Cuttlebug Challenge  Kim the product developer from Provo Craft is going to be a guest designer with loads of tips and ideas for the knifty knitter, sign up to be a follower so you don't miss out..

Carol is the process of creating a beautiful soft fuzzy hat, that makes you yearn for a baby...it is so soft and her colour scheme is gorgeous.

Here Carol put the finishing touch by creating a flower with the flower loom to add a luxurious feel to this hat.

I’m Maggie here to show you another version..

I created this brooch with Kim in less than 10mtes, which was my first try since then I have a whole wardrobe accessorize with the knifty knitter isn’t it neat?

I raided my mom button collection and I didn’t even take the shank off, all I did was use Fabri tac from Beacon adhesive, voila a beautiful brooch..

Kim uses a hair clip she brought a box of them at Sally’s. 200 for $9.99.

Would you like to try your hand at knitting a flower?

I remember making this type of flowers when I was a kid. I think it was Oopsy Daisy loom or something. My mother made a whole set of them and then crocheted them together for an aphgan.

This is so great for card/scrapbook embellies!!!

Blessings,
Christine
