Project Runway & Cuttlebug Fashionable T-shirt Be Inspired #79

Hi everyone!
This week was our Design Team's biggest challenge yet. ..how to incorporate T-Shirt couture with Cuttlebug.
Be Inspired #79 T-shirt Fashions...

We are excited to show you ideas, from simple embellishments to advanced designs! With Summer coming on so quickly, what better time to fashion a T-Shirt a la Cuttlebug? Be it for a family reunion or just for plain fun, you are bound to find amazing Inspirations here today...

Your Challenge this week is for you to be the fashion designer and create your own wearable masterpiece! Will you create yours with fabric, ribbon, paint, jewels, altered items, etc? What is your style?

PRIZE This Week......

Megan Nicolay book on how to transform a T-Shirt..

Tutorial.......

I am going to show you, in simple steps, how I altered this T-Shirt using Hobo Flowers.

Hobo flowers are flowers that don’t have a finish edge. They are mainly rough, frayed edges etc..

Supplies needed:

4519259506_9597646a67

T-Shirt, Beads, Beacon Adhesive Fabri -Tac, Ribbon, Fabric, Cuttlebug Naturals Die Cut from Provo Craft, Cuttlebug Machine, Martha Stewart Beads.

How to:

1. Thread beads, add knots, and enough thread to thread thru the T-Shirt, add enough fabric for tie back around the neck.
2. Create the Hobo flower by cutting 2 strips of fabric 1.5 by 28 inches, and 1.5 by 24, twist fabric, add to ribbon using Fabri-Tac in a circular, let dry. Once dry add Fabri-Tac to the center of the Hobo Flower, add the beads.
3. Thread the beaded fabric strip to the neckline of the T-Shirt, see below.

4. Adhere the flower using Fabri- Tac to the back of the Hobo Flower. Add to the center of the T-Shirt.

5. Cut the butterflies using Cuttlebug Naturals Die from Provo Craft see below. I pull the threads by hand on the butterflies to give it a Hobo Finish to match the flowers.

6.Adhere the Hobo Flowers, butterflies and voila you are done!
