Vacation - A period of time devoted to pleasure, rest, or relaxation. Now when most folks think of vacations they think of far away destinations by sparkling beaches or filled with amusement park rides. Or maybe vacation is a trip to a national park or visiting distant family. I can't think of anywhere I rather vacation than my little cabin on Lake Eufaula here in Oklahoma.
When I found out our challenge this time on Sweet Treats was Vacation I knew I needed to dig out some pictures that were much over due to be scrapped! There isn't much room in my little cabin but it fits mine and my daughter's needs perfectly!! We don't make it down as often as we use to. You know how it is when kids get older...schedules aren't as easy to work with and life gets in the way.For my two page layout I used Camp Out and Base Camp. You can download the cut file on my blog and see more pictures at Okieladybug's Scrap N' More.

The lazy, hazy days of summer are here and mini-vacations near the water are a perfect way to keep cool! Time to get away with a couple of friends with nothing to do but relax. Of course, you need a few essentials to take to the beach.
Make a fun gift bag for each of your friends and fill it with treats and some sun protection. This bag is on the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.
An inexpensive pencil case decorated with vinyl is perfect to keep a few items dry around the water.
The bikinis are from the Life is a Beach cartridge and are cut from a patterned glittered cardstock. I added some tiny floral bling from Creative Charms to dot the "i"s in bikini.
The real question is just how teeny would the bikini have to be to fit in this bag? To find the answer to this question and for details and the .cut file for this project, please visit my blog, Capadia Designs!

Welcome to Sweet Treat Thursday and vacation time! We were to make vacation projects, so I made this little photo box for my grandson Lucien. This is for him to keep his special summer fun pictures in.
I found the instructions for this cute little photo case over at Stamping Inspiration. Maria Bell's blog featured such a fun project to make.
I used Animal Kingdom and Sans Serif Cricut cartridges on my project
