Our designers sure thought of some wonderful ways to create ornaments. For example, Meda created an amazing set of Christmas ornaments by recycling a sweater, Ms Tracy created a beautiful collage with a hint of vintage, and Maggie created a glittered ornament by using Mop n Glo as the binding.

Your Prize is the Glitter from Martha Stewart Craft
Hello this is Meda here to share a fun, elegant, yet easy gift set. This Christmas my goal is to declutter my apartment. I have way too many clothes in my wardrobe and I have set out to find creative ways to use them. I know many of you are like me. Take a comfortable seat on your couch with an old sweater, a pair of scissors and a newspaper. Within minutes, you will be creating Christmas Magic for your loved one or a friend.
Supplies:
- Sweater
- Newspaper
- Embellishments
- Cuttlebug Machine from Provo Craft
How to:
- Un-thread your sweater and make some balls from your newspapers. You can also use a styrofoam ball.
- Roll the thread on your balls until the newspaper is covered. I used a crochet needle to hide the end of the thread.
- Embellish with rhinestones or sequins etc.
Voila here is the finish yarn ornament on my tree !
Other ideas are to use them as a cluster or create a gift box to give as a one-of-a-kind gift!

Quilted Paper Ornament by Tracy Pounds!
This ornament features a Paper Mache circle ornament and the beautiful papers from the Christmas Past Collection by Graphic 45...aren't they lovely?
How To:
- Cut your paper into the 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 in. pieces. Lay each piece in your paper trimmer, lining up each opposite corner at an angle and ink the edges of each triangle.
- Position 4 of the triangles onto the paper Mache ornament.
Be careful to have the points meet in the center of the ornament and trim the tips off the triangles so that the middle of the ornament doesn't get too bulky.
- Turn your ornament over and use your craft knife to cut away the excess paper. Be sure to do this step on a cutting mat.
- Be careful to have the points meet in the center of the ornament and trim the tips off.
- Ink the edges all the way around the ornament with the same ink that you used earlier.
- Next create the rosette and ink the scallop edge with more chalk ink.Now begin making a fold at every valley of the scallop border and adhere the ends of the strips together with glue. Be careful to keep the mountain, valley pattern.
- You will need to apply some glue to the center on both sides to hold the rosette in place.
- Repeat these steps to create a second rosette for the back of the ornament. Attaching the ribbon, apply a dab of glue to hold the loop in place. Apply some glue to the top of the ornament and attach the base of the loop. Then glue the ribbon around the edges of the ornament.

Glitter Ornament using Mop-n-Glo, Martha Stewart Glitter!
Hi everyone!! I’m Maggie and I will be sharing with you a very quick and easy way to create a fun expensive looking ornament at just a fraction of the cost. I purchased everything last year during the after Christmas sales at the crafts stores for 80% off. I was thinking ahead to this year!! Last year I made over 100 of these ornaments for church.Yes they are that fun. :)
Supplies:
- Mop-n-Glo floor cleaner
- Martha Stewart Glitter
- Offray Ribbon
- Glass Rub-on
- Funnel
- Craft Mat
- Gift box.
- Remove the ball caps. Using a funnel, add enough Mop-n-Glo to coat the entire ball then flip upside down to remove excess liquid.
- Using another funnel, add Martha Stewart glitter and then gently shake to cover the entire ball. Then shake the excess off onto a craft mat or paper. Let dry
- Once dry (10 min or so) replace the ball cap. Repeat the same process for your other ornaments.
- Using rub-ons, gently rub onto the surface of the ball, some might not adhere correctly.
- Tie ribbon onto the cap.
Here are some other ideas on how I’ve used these little beauties! :)
Thank you so much for visiting us today and leaving comments as we truly appreciate them :) If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Have a fabulous day, see you tomorrow :)
