Maggie &  Jackie with you today to share a tutorial  for creating Autumn Wreaths.

Autumn is more than just my favorite season! I love the crispness in the air when the scorching temperature go down from the high 90’s to low 70’s. I get very excited and I look forward to pulling on my cardigans and scarves from storage.

November is the start of the most magical season of giving thanks for family and friends, fabulous eating, and sharing. This Thanksgiving we have put together a fabulous guide for you  to help you carve more time to spend with your guests.

Autumn wreath tutorial using paper, Cricut, flowers and twigs!

How to:

1.Create this wreath by cutting 15 leaves at  3.5”  from Straight from The Nest Cricut Cartridge, Emboss with Cuttlebug Folder Victoria. Ink the edges, add stickles, adhere to the bottom of the wreath.

2.Cut 18 of the bird wings from Straight from The Nest Cricut Cartridge, Emboss with Cuttlebug Folder Victoria. Ink the edges. Create a sunflower with the wings curl the edge to give it more a realistic look of a sunflower,  adhere to the wreath.  Cut 3 scallop circle from Storybook Cricut Cartridge, Ink the edges. Adhere circles to the sunflowers, add rhinestones to the center.

3.Cut Ribbon and form a large loop to the bottom of the wreath. Create a nest with jute, adhere to the right of the flowers, add a dollhouse birdhouse to the nest. Add sprigs to each side, adhere pumpkins.

Voila  fabulous wreath to welcome your guest!

Supplies:
Straight from The nest Cricut cartridge, Emboss with Cuttlebug Folder Victoria,Cricut Gypsy, Ink Colorbok fluid chalk, 18”wreath, ribbon, Glue Art Glue,Mambi rhinestones, Jute, Sprigs, Ranger Stickles, Dollhouse.

Here’s another idea for creating a fabulous wreath that will greet your guest!
Use twigs from your yard for a natural touch, fresh gourd and pumpkin by dipping them in a wax bath to make them last longer for the season.

Too cute to spook “BOO”

Happy Halloween

Welcome to Rendez vous Monday.

This is Maggie, I wanted to share with you a not so spooky boo bats idea for your door, or anywhere else  in  your  home.  I wanted to create a home decor that wasn’t so scary, since I don’t celebrate  Halloween.

How to :
1.Cut bats at 11", and layer at 10.75". Once you have cut the images, ink all the edges using fluid chalk, assemble all the layers and add rhinestones to the eyes of the bats.
2.Create the rosette by cutting a strip pf paper at 1.25", score using scor-it at .25". ink the edges, fold accordion style, glue he two ends to create a circle, mount on the ribbon using Provo Craft Terrifically tacky glue adhesive .
3. Use Provo Craft Terrifically tacky glue adhesive to adhere the ribbon to the bats and rosette length  wise
4.Cut 6 scallop circles for the word boo, ink the edges,Emboss with the  Cuttlebug embossing folders of your choice, adhere the letters for boo on top of the circles.
Voila you are done!

Supplies:
Happy Haunting Cricut Cartridge, Terrifically tacky tape, Gypsy, Cuttlebug   from   Provo Craft, K& Company Halloween pad, Mambi rhinestones, Colorbox fluid chalk, May Arts ribbon.

Not so frightful Halloween and “Be Inspired”

This is the time of the year where the morning air is crisp and a bit cooler. The leaves are beyond beautiful in their vibrancy. The excitement is in the air as we can get ready for Halloween.

Creating a Halloween Home Decor is just a few cuts away using the Gypsy, Cricut, Cuttlebug!

How to:
1.Cut Bats at 6.5”, 5.5”, 4”, 3” , Cat 9.5” , BOO 4”, tombstones 4”, Beware 8”
2.Cut Frames at 4.5”
3.Coffins 3.5”, Skeletons 3”, Ticks, Spiders 4.25”, Spider web 4”, Skulls at 4”, 3.5”
Ink the edges of all the cuts, add rhinestones to the eyes. Embossed the leaves with any Cuttlebug folders, adhere to the pumpkins.
String the phrase boo on silver jute, adhere to the skulls.
Spray a Christmas wreath black and let dry. Adhere Cat, Spiders.
Add rhinestone to the phrase beware and adhere to the wreath.

October 31st Cricut Cartridge, Happy Haunting Cricut Cartridge, Pumpkin Carving Cricut Cartridge,Gypsy wondering, Rock Princess Cricut Cartridge. Krylon Glossy Spray black, Christmas wreath, Mambi rhinestone, Beacon Adhesive, Ornament balls. Cricut Expression, Cuttlebug Machine.

Monday Rendezvous `Goulish Treats`



Happy Halloween

Hello Everyone.Happy Monday !! 

Terrie here with you all today,sharing a few quick and easy way to decorate chocholate bars. Just in time for Halloween when all those Trick and Treaters will be visiting.
Imagine the fun when the children will have  when they help to create the treats. Everyone will love them!!!!

  `Goulish Treats`
Gather your Supplies:


 
Once you have gathered up your supplies the rest is up to you,and whats available in your craft box.You can create the simplest treats using very limited supplies.But most of all you will have fun whether it`s creating with the children or giving as a gift, the rewards will be fulfilling.

How To:

Cut pieces of white papers and emboss with your embossing folders.
Ink the edges with a black ink pad,creating the distress look.
Take your chocholate and wrap with different patterned papers
(I used the Spooky Doodles Paper Collections from PINKPETTICOAT which you can see HERE) 
Re- wrapped over them, using my embossed white pieces of paper to gain different effects.
I add jewel drops and text, strings.
The choices are endless.


 
Create lots of different wrappers for your chocholates.
You'll be amazed how much fun you will have!
