Hi Everyone,
I’m excited to share this fun tutorial with you, if you have a teenage girl like mine, you will sympathize with what I’m about to share with you.
It seems to me graphic tees and skinny jeans are the uniforms for teens today, as a mother I want to see her sometimes wear something a bit more fun. If you feel this way don’t despair with this fun tutorial you and your teen will create tons of different t-shirt they would want to wear, that is fun but not too far from the uniforms.
Here is what we are going to be creating, isn’t this fun?
Supplies list:
Cuttlebug Machine, your favorite flower dies, old graphic t-shirt, new t-shirt, Aileen’s fabric glue, pearls.
Instructions:
Cut the fabric using the Cuttlebug machine for as many flowers as you will need, I cut 43 flowers.
Arrange the flowers from large to small, adhere using Fabric glue.
TIP
Make sure you glue the edges otherwise when wash they will all curl and require ironing to flatten.
3. Add pearls to the center of the flowers, add leaves to the bottom of the flower.
Let dry overnight, wash 7 days after drying inside out on gentle cycle, no bleach.
Please note the said teenager didn’t want to take any pics to model this shirt, so therefor I had to snap this one while she was talking to her friends…lol
TIP
Start the flowers at the shoulder for a draping look, my teen didn’t like that idea , she wanted it lower.
Voila a fun T-shirt your teen will luv to wear!
Have a fabulous weekend,
Maggie

I just love this idea!!! Yours came out gorgeous, Maggie!!! Love it!
That is absolutely awesome! Sooooo much prettier than the old printed fabric cutouts we used to do when we'd iron them on and put that puffy fabric paint around the edges (common, SOME of you remember that, right?) Thanks for sharing your talent. Oh, did you get orders from her friends for more shirts? :-)
....thank you for the great idea...;)

What a cute idea!!! This is something I will do with my teen daughter this weekend! Thanks for sharing!!!!
This would be great for reusing a stained shirt.
oh my word Sharon, don't remind me, do you know I still have those paints in the garage somewhere, I use to decorate my book bags, sneakers, hats, I even made as bracelet out of those paints, sheesh this bring back memories.
Well, some of friends wanted me to make those shirts, i said oh no you're going to come over and we will have a tshirt party while you learn how to make them yourself.
Have a fabulous weekend,
Maggie
