2011 4th of July celebration menu from the linking Parties!

As we are getting ready for the 4th of July celebrating our freedom. I can’t help but take a moment to pray for those who never made it back to their families.  I thank them for their sacrifice to protect our freedom.
One of the most amazing things about our weekly party you never what amazing projects you will share with us. I am so thankful for your talents, your generosity of spirit, taking the time to share with us every week.  My 4th party coming up is all from the links you share, from a succulent grilling pork tenderloin recipe, fruit salad cup, 7 layer dip shot, Lemon rice, this refreshing frozen treat, simple table décor to showcase the food, now you see why I get so giddy every week with anticipation of what you will be sharing :)  My next project is this amazing fire pit I’m hoping Susan will send her husband over lol
This is the first week since we started our linking party we’ve had such a variety of links from cards, layout, home décor, fire building pit,  with fabulous recipes.
Congrats to all the ladies and here’s your badge for your blog…  we’re changing things a bit this week, we are showcasing top 5.

Our top 5 favorite linking spotlight!
Rebecca’s picture checklist for the Summer, is a perfect guide for those memories we don’t think of capturing, don’t delay download it today :)

Kylie’s  amazing layout
Brandi’s amazing pillow tutorial, I put it on my to do list this Summer.

The minute I saw this recipe I knew I had to make it today, I did it was good, I added mushroom instead of the carrot, red onion, and vegetable broth, it was so yummy everyone had seconds…

Recycle those old tin into pin cushion from Lenet!

Thank you so much for the amazing links, I look forward to what you share with us this week :)

Got a project that should be getting  attention?

Introducing the fabulous Molly Peckham. Molly is an amazing designer, I worked with her when I was Marks Paper marketing director, she is a published designer many times over.  We are excited to have her with us.
Please help us welcome Molly!
Hi, I am Molly Peckham, an avid paper crafter for just about 10 and a half years now (wow, I am both aging myself and my scrapbooking skills all at once ;) ), and have probably seen and paper crafted it all in these past 10 years. I am a wife of 11 years to Paul, who is in the Navy, and a mom to three wonderful children, Brendan, who is 10 (and has Asperger's, a type of Autism), Alex, who is 8, and Caitlynn, who is 4. Being a military wife has brought me, literally, from one side of the U.S. to the other (we have lived in Maine twice, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York twice and Hawaii twice), and have seen many cultures that have helped to broaden my horizons as a crafter (and I actually LOVE moving, please don't ask. I hate the actual unpacking part, but the whole we are going to a new place part, that I seem to thrive on!). I have been out of the paper crafting world for quite a bit, taking a break while my husband was deployed and I was (after a very long period of no one knowing what was wrong with me) finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia. One day, not too long ago, Maggie asked me if I would like to be on Passionately Artistic and I happily agreed, and ever since then, my creative juices have been flowing, once again! So, I thank you, Maggie, for giving a chance on me, again, and I hope that I can only be as much of a creative push for others as Passionately Artistic has been for me (I have been a follower for a VERY long time, so this is truly a dream job for me!).

Molly’s first project :)

3. Stamp Our Daily Bread designs Mini Tags 3 sentiment and cut out with Spellbinders Oval.  Use Scallop Spellbinders Oval for the mat.
4. Cut out designer paper (K&Co) for the background.
5. Adhere velvet ribbon, lace, butterflies and bow with Beacon 3-in-1 glue.  Finally add rhinestones. (Larger rhinestones are Want2Scrap)

HI Maggie-

Thanks for stopping by my blog and visiting. Looks like the linky closed before I got a chance to add mine. In regards to your question, I think you could use splenda. I did use a sugar free cake mix this time and couldn't tell the difference. I also use the other cheese, not cream cheese, to decrease the calories some. Personally, it's too sweet for me but others love it. Great blog, you are very artistic!!
