Hi Everyone,

Hello,I’m Maggie

Sprucing up a window is very easy when you accessorize with ribbons. Most seamstresses use bias tape but with so many beautiful ribbons the options and choices are endless . . . especially with the wide variety of May Arts ribbon!

This curtain is so versatile. If you decide to change the look, simply insert some tulle inside the bottom and fold to create a faux balloon curtain. You can even fan-fold the bottom to create a faux roman shade when tied. The possibilities are endless.

Supply List:

Ribbon: May Arts1.5 Crochet/Velvet Center: 3721533"; Fabric: Hobby Lobby "Leaves"; Embellishments: Hobby Lobby "Tassels: 521401"

Instructions:

  • Measure the width of your window and double the amount for the pleating.
  • Measure the length of the  window to how far you want the curtain to hang, cut the fabric.
  • Sew each side and create a 2 inches pocket on top for the rod.
  • Cut the May Art Ribbon twice to fit the curtain and tie on the bottom of the  curtain, insert rhinestone tassels.

Voila done very easy!

Have a great week,

Maggie

PS Don’t forget our linking party going on here this week!
