Halloween Treat Holder
I learned how to make this treat holder from the Splitcoast Stampers How-to gallery and have made them many times. Everyone always likes the design so I decided to use it to send treats to the children of a FB friend of mine. It was easy peasy to make.
I used felt stickers given to me by a fellow crafter, cardstock scraps from the Debbie Mumm for JoAnns Harvest and Holiday paper stack from a few years ago, and some solid color scraps from my scrap bin. I used my Martha Stewart Drippy goo punch for the flap and added a bit of ribbon to tie it closed. The candy is placed in a small plastic zip top bag and adhered to the inside of the holder.
The base of the holder is made using a 4.25 X 10.5 inch piece of cardstock. This piece is scored at 4, 4.5, 5 and 9 inches. After folding (the 4.5 inch score is mountain folded, which means it's folded in the opposite direction of the other folds), decorate the front, adhere the plastic bag of candy to the back inside of the holder, punch holes through the flap and the front and back holder panels.
Thread ribbon through the holes and tie in front. Cute and simple!

Thanks for hosting and inviting me! I am putting your button under parties I link to tab. Thanks!
Thanks for the invite-I linked up!!
To answer your question about the sofa table, we made our own plans. The top was 19X46, the bottom shelf, 15X42 and the side panels were 15x32. We drilled pilot holes and countersunk them to screw the base together, before adding the top piece. The bottom shelf was supported by a 1X2 cut to length, wedged and screwed into place. The top was supported by corner braces. The sides used excess MDF cut into a rectangle that sat 2 inches in from the sides, and the pieces themselves were 2 inches in width. The corners were not mitered, but the vertical pieces sat on the outside of the horizontal piece. It was super easy, super fun and super cheap to make!
Thanks for the invite to come join in! I am thrilled to be a part of it! I'm also a new follower...just #5372 however.
