It’s amazing to me that we are only 4 days away from Christmas 2011. This year has been a year with so much to be thankful for! We are totally grateful to you for making this site the success it has been with our weekly linking parties and the amazing talents you share with us every week. I wish you all the best and the merriest Christmas ever with health and lots of joy with your love ones.

Please help us welcome our guest today Mari, She’s amazing at taking every day object and turning them into a stunning project!
I am Mexican Puertorican married to a Southern Georgia boy and raising our 3 precious boys in Ecuador. How about that for some culture! I am a missionary, a counselor, an artist and I love to cook.
A lot my recipes and craft projects come from these 3 mottos "necessity is the mother of invention", "Ain't got no money" and "Too cheap to buy it."
Evergreen and Eucalyptus Tree are dainty layered around the hurricanes to add that nature inspired effect. The wreath is my favorite it is made from Fresh Carnations. J-O-Y is spelled out on the red ornaments and red berries are hanging from the mantle.
Here is the tutorial on this Simple but Fabulous Fresh Flowered Wreath:
Supplies:
Floral foam
Floral Tape
Bright Red fluffy Carnations or whatever color you want
Red Wide Ribbon
Skewers
1. I could not find floral foam in shape of a wreath so I created mine buy cutting the blocks of foam and making a rectangle like this.
2. I used wooden skewers to secure it and then taped each side. I would recommend that you use the green floral tape instead of the masking tape I have here:
3. Once it is secure begin inserting your carnations. Until the top is completely covered.
4. Then go around and place that wide red ribbon around the outside and inside of the rectangle.
5. Secure the ribbon with straight pins.
Yes, it was as simple as that!
Here are some Simple Nature Inspired Tablescapes for Christmas:
Just a few simple touches to create that nature feel. In the square vases we have place an evergreen twig with some red small pebbles.
The Eucalyptus is around each candle holder. J-O-Y is spelled out on the three red ornaments.

Thank you so much for this opportunity,
Mari
