Happy Friday! Carole here to share a project using my latest favorite crafting tool, my Silhouette Cameo. I love my new Cameo! She cuts like a dream.
The software is fantastic, the images at the Silhouette store are awesome, the possibilities are endless with this machine. Have I gushed enough? Not really, but so as not to bore you, I will move on.
Several of my crafting friends are also proud owners of the Cameo and they've all been talking about how easy the 3D gift boxes from the Silhouette America store are to cut and assemble. I had to try it, and here's my two cents....they were right! This box is a simple cut, has simple score lines and is so easy to assemble. No adhesive is even necessary for assembly of this box. Despite it's simplicity, the box is adorable. I just had to make it and decorate it. Now, a photo instructional of the steps I took:
I decided to make this an Easter gift box for my daughter. I think a jewelry box will fit nicely in here, don't you?
Cardstock, tiny flower punch from the $1 bin, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Stampin Up border punch, gold vellum, Stickles, dark green vinyl, Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pens, Making Memories Rubons, Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine, 3D box with handle Silhouette Studio download.
If you think you might be interested in the Cameo, you can download the software for free and try it out. You can also check out the images at the Silhouette America store. Not that I'm trying to enable you or anything...but I am try to spread my love!
I hope Maggie will let me share more Cameo projects with you all in the very near future.
Have a happy weekend and try to get some crafting in, okay!
