Julie and Julia movie inspiration with a linking party!

SONY DSC

I’ve been trying to hit my list of must watch movies outside of rereading the Hunger games books (3 times now). One of the movies I’ve been wanting to revisit is Julie and Julia base on Julia child’s book. What an awesome gem this movie is, not only is it funny! but the inspiration can be used for anything in life. After the robbery last week, it made me realized how short life is, I decided to start working on my bucket list.
This week I pull out my list of making some day for dessert and modified this dessert a bit to fit my health needs while feeding my sweet tooth :)
What have you been putting off?

Apple Pecan Cake Recipe

I modify this recipe to fit my health goal. I use Stevia instead of the  sugars, I also didn't make it upside down :)  for the topping I use a bourbon sauce over the apples.
Here are the recipes

Let me know how yours came out :)

Have a great week,
Maggie

Thanks for hosting the linky party and good morning! I have a recipe for Simple, Organic Lip Balm. It's very easy to make, is super cheap ($.25 a tube) and is now my favorite lip balm. Hope you like it and have a great week!
