Today I’m going to share one of the recipes I’ve been perfecting for the graduation party.
This dish is served anytime, my mom makes this on a regular basis for us. I’ve added my own little tweak by adding fresh ginger.

1 lb. bonata (which is the real sweet potato and it’s white not orange which is really yam)
1 tsp. vanilla, cinnamon, fresh ginger, and salt
1 cup milk
whip cream,ice cream
1/2 c butter

Directions:
  • Wash the bonatas, dry rub with butter and sprinkle with salt. bake for 30 mtes in 450 degrees.
  • Scoop the bonata off the skin and mash with the following ingredients vanilla, cinnamon, fresh ginger.
Tip
It will be chunky and that is the consistency you want.

  • Add milk to the chunky mixture

Cake balls are sold in various bakeries as well as mall kiosks; they are also available to be purchased as gifts. The bite sized snacks may be displayed on a stick, and can be decorated with ribbon. They are especially popular during the holiday months. Thanks.
